Pajama party time?

Is it me or should I have used this fabric as pajamas? Maybe blue covered buttons would help? Is seersucker an appropriate fabric for a reproduction dress? I like it a lot however I'm starting to have second thoughts. Maybe I'm just staring at it too long.

  1. seersucker is a common fabric in daywear in the South (less now than pre-air conditioning) but still used a lot in summer clothes. j. crew and macy's are both carrying it. i think the dress is really cute and will be light and airy when y'all get warm again :)

  2. I don't think it's pajama-y at all! Seersucker looks like it wants to be a shirt or sundress, to me, so I think this is perfect. :)

  3. Thanks gals, sometimes I think I need to just step back and look at from someone else's perspective. I haven seen seersucker with such a wide wale, it's making the seams ripple a bit but I think that's just the nature of the fabric. I can't wait till its scorching to wear this. What type of skirt would look good? I was thing of just gathering it like in the picture but the a line bottom. Is king of growing on me. I could do box pleats to something. I wanted it to feel fluffy.
